Professional navigation bar

Create a professional navigation bar for your web layouts.
Step 1
Start with 670x100 new document and random background. I will use pure black:

Create new layer, select Rounded Rectangle Tool and add fixed size rectangle (width: 590; height: 40px;) and set Radius to 10px. It can be filled with any color:

Now go to rectangle's blending options and add these settings:

We going to add a pattern on. Which you can download from

. Ok create new layer fill it with any color, press CTRL + LEFT MOUSE BUTTON on the rectangle's layer, and go to Edit-> Fill select that pattern. Now set opacity to 2%:

We need some shine on our navigation. So press CTRL + LEFT MOUSE BUTTON on rectangle's layer. Create new layer fill it with #ffffff. Now select Rectangular Marquee Tool and by holding ALT button delete selection like in picture:

Now just go to Select-> Inverse and press DELETE. Set opacity to 20%. Select an Eraser Tool and set a brush like in a picture and by holding shift delete bottom like 2 times:

Create new layer, set foreground color to #aeaeae select a brush like in a picture and brush around rectangular like in another picture and set Blend Mode to Color Dodge:

We need to add some text on it. I will use (Agency FB, Regular, 24 pt, Smooth). To make a better text duplicate text layer, add layer under first text make it color #001d3f and press 2 times LEFT BUTTON and DOWN BUTTON and set opacity to 50%:

Now we only need a separator. Select pencil tool make two lines 1px one #00152e and other #ffffff. Now delete top and bottom like in step 6. And duplicate it as many times as you need:
