Concrete Text Effect.

Step 1:
Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 500×500 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with black color. Now select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Arial, bold, 72 pt, smooth and #C0D2D2 color shade. In a new text layer type your website name.

Step 2:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Color Over lay and Pattern Overlay blending options to your website name text layer.

Step 3:
In a new text layer type your name with #C0D2D2 color shade positioned as shown below.

Step 4:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Color Overlay and Pattern Overlay blending options to your light gray text layer.

There is no way to tell what effects to use. You should if possible fix the image problem or re upload the tutorial. I really want to use it I just can’t find out how.

How do I get the pattern to work? I try saving it as a .pat and photoshop says it is corrupted

OK this tutorial is good but i am trying to follow step by step and for some reason the photoshop layer style on the font layer is under blend mode is not showing me the selection of color burn. also how the hell do you use the picture as a pattern…
