Before / After

Ctrl + J and take out the eye at the background layer to make the layer invisible...

Filter ---> Poster Edges

Edge Tickness = 6
Edge Intensity = 6
Posterization = 6

With the set foreground color black(click D at the keyboard).

Select COLOR>RANGE and move the slider left and right to get the best result,. Choose white matte as the Selection Preview. When you get a good contrast Black/White click OK;
