AnyFont allows you to use any truetype font for post titles, menu items or anywhere else you want to use a custom font in your theme design. Very handy when you want to use custom fonts on your page – it’s easy to use and works very well.

ShareThis

ShareThis is an absolute must for all blogs. The ShareThis WordPress plugin provides a simple way for users to add your post to many social bookmarking sites, or to send a link to your post via email, AIM, Facebook, Twitter and more.

All-In-One SEO Pack

Another absolute must foranyone who wants more traffic to their blog. Sets your optimum SEO preferences and make sure you are reaching the largest audience you can.

CForms II

CForms II is an AJAX driven form generator that allows the user to place a form anywhere in their blog, including multiple forms on one page. Very handy, saves tons of time, and is super user-friendly. Highly recommended.

Google Sitemaps Generator

Another SEO must – this plugin does just what you would think – it generates XML Sitemaps for your Wordpress Installation. Good tool to have.

Another cool AJAX tool – this one allows you or your users to edit comments in a faster and more user-friendly way. Anything that saves time is good. That’s not accurate as a generality at all, so please disregard. In this case, though – still a good thing.

For those of you trying to add a little charm to your posts, the Drop Cap Plugin may work for you. Presents a classy look that could work well in many designs.

Found a great article written by Ryan Carson over at Vitamin. In it, he outlines great ways to keep yourself organized and productive.

EVIL EMAIL

The biggest killer to your productivity is email. Here’s the trick to making sure you don’t get sucked into the email blackhole:

Don’t check your email until you’ve ticked off at least two important things on your ‘Today’ list.

This is vital to making sure you don’t get distracted by what other people deem to be important for you.

As a wise man once said: “Your inbox is a todo list that anyone in the world can write to.”

Of course, if your boss emails you and asks for something to be done ASAP, then it’s best to listen. However, most everything else can wait until you knock out a few of your todos. This will leave you feeling refreshed and empowered.

A great tip is to tell your co-workers that if they need you to do anything urgently, then calling you is the best option, as you only check email occasionally.

Dutch artist Helmut Smits somehow came upon the decision to burn an almost 3-foot by 3-foot square of ash into the grass somewhere out there in the world in the name of art in public places. When it’s viewed from 1 kilometer above the ground (3,280 feet), it looks just like a dead pixel on your monitor at home.
