BuyStockFlash.com is part of the BuyStock Network, which is quickly becoming a top resource for designers. At BuyStockFlash, you can do just that – buy stock flash files for your designs. Along with that, they also offer stock graphics, templates, and sound files.

They are fairly priced and the files come straight from the community itself – you aren’t buying from one company, but rather a slew of fellow designers who post their work on the site.They have some great programs on the site, from their 50% affiliate program, to their current deal – add $50 to your account, and receive $5 for free. With files starting as low as $1, that is a pretty good deal.

The selection is already robust and growing everyday. The member base is over 10,000 and everyone is very helpful.

Wordpress themes can be amazingly helpful tools. Whether you use them as a template for your own design, or use them straight out of the box for their already great look and functionality, they are a HUGE time saver.

As you can tell, we here at PsPack are huge WP people, and here are 10 of the best we have come across.

Blogging Pro

A 3 column theme with a lot of functionality built in. Also easy to re-skin to suit your design tastes.

Tasty

An absolutely delicious theme from WhaleSalad. Beautiful, fresh, and easy to use.

Brightness

Actually one of the first themes I ever worked with. leaves a lot of room for customization and looks good out of the box, too.

Intrablog

Super compact, bold little theme. Probably not functional for a lot of sites, but a very cool theme if you can find a good use.

Hemingway

Clean, functional, easily skinned. I love this theme.

Whos Who

From the always excellent Elegant Themes, I am actually currently using this theme on another site. Loaded with plugins and new features. Worth a look.

Groovy Video

Love the look of this video-based theme from WooThemes.

OverEasy

Another gem from WooThemes, OverEasy has multiple theme options activated through the Dashboard, and a lot of added functionality.

Bus Full of Hippies

This one almost makes the list for the name alone. An absolutely beautiful theme.

ColdStone

Always a favorite of mine, ColdStone is another from Elegant Themes. Love the home page design, and the background images are fantastic.

Found an impressive site today that takes great advantage of a grid layout and some very cool page effects. They regularly post inspiration for all artistic mediums and gosh darn it, they just seem like good people.

That site is CreativeDepart, and they offer a unique style and some really great content.

Recommendations include playing with the two different views allowed (Regular and Grid) and checking out their fantastic Resources page (if only Ps-Pack was featured! Alas.)

That about sums it up. Smashing Magazine is the premier resource for web development on the entire internets. Pages upon pages guide designers, young and old, to the light and shower them from above with knowledge and inspiration that not only touches their minds, but also their soul. It is atleast half as good as that.

Usually there comes a part in these Inspiration posts that I post some recommended reading – around 3 links to particularly good articles. Not this time. I suggest just going through the entire website. Browse, search, speed read, and feed your brain, but try not to digest it all at once, because that can get messy.
