You're right, there is a LOT of ways to cut out pictures, but after a lot of playing around I believe this method is the best way to cut out an image. Oh the lovely PEN TOOL! (In this tutorial I am working with Photoshop 7.0, but this will work with any version, and beginners can follow it too!)
